I used the trailpro for three nights in a row without having to re inflate. The therm a rest neoair xtherm weighs 2 oz less but is more comfortable and packs smaller. Love how small this sleeping pad rolls up to be and therm a rest is a great company. The thermarest trail pro is the perfect all around air mattress.

Sleeping at high elevations usually means my sleeping pad loses air throughout the night as the temperatures drop. As already mentioned self inflating it packs up into a reasonably small package that fits nicely into your pack. For unprecedented comfort during your backcountry adventures the trail pro brings year round warmth and legendary therm a rest support. But it is double the price and less durable.

My only real complaint is that it s a bit bulky for a backpacking pad but it more than makes up for it in comfort. The trail lite s top and bottom are made from a durable 75 denier polyester material making it one of the more durable sleeping pads in this review. The therm a rest trail pro sleeping pad is one of their most popular sleeping pads being their warmest pad and still fairly light to carry with its mere 740gr in the 183cm length version. At 17oz this is far from the lightest pad we reviewed but there were many pads much heavier.

I am happy with the thickness which is perfect for backpacking comfortably. I would recommend this product to everyone. Although they feel similar when sleeping the rei airrail weighs an astonishing 10 oz more. This pad would do well somewhere you are tentative to bring a less durable pad to such as the desert pokey things or somewhere with sharp rocks.
